Intranet site helps brokers easily access information about ERA® products and services
PARSIPPANY, NJ, May 16, 2002 — ERA Real Estate announced last week at its annual meeting of top brokers that it has expanded its "Broker Only" site, a specialized and confidential area of its TeamERA.com Intranet site.
"Our technology initiatives this year include enhancing our broker section on TeamERA.com," said P.J. Martin Smith, senior vice president of marketing, ERA Franchise Systems LLC. "By expanding the site, we are creating a hub where brokers can get shortcuts to important information geared toward helping them grow their real estate business."
The Broker Only site includes information that highlights the benefits ERA affiliates receive, which range from advertising programs and training courses to awards and recognition. It also outlines the advantages of being part of Cendant Corporation, including national marketing alliances and partnerships with sister brands.
"The site is a quick and easy vehicle I use to stay informed about new products and services developed by ERA," said Nick Vlahos, associate broker, ERA Preferred Properties Real Estate, Inc. in Hanover (PA). "It provides me with all the information I need to keep myself and our sales associates educated about the brand."
To help brokers keep in touch with their teammates across the country, the site features a directory of ERA offices in the United States. Other features of the site are links to real estate industry news, franchise sales reports, and ERA growth statistics.
Throughout the year, ERA Real Estate plans to make several other enhancements to the site. "In response to requests from our brokers, we will add a recruiting section and media purchasing/planning tips," said Smith. "We're also in the process of creating a section with advice, tips and forms to assist brokers with mergers and acquisitions."
TeamERA.com is an information center focused on providing ERA sales associates and brokers with timely data about the global franchise and the real estate industry. The site is home to training programs, customizable marketing materials and technology programs.
