ERA REAL ESTATE TELEVISION CAMPAIGN MAKES INTERNATIONAL DEBUT
Commercials capture attention of ERA affiliates around the world

PARSIPPANY, NJ, June 18, 2002 - The new television advertising campaign launched by ERA Real Estate in the U.S. in February will premier in several countries this summer including Japan, South Africa, Singapore and the Philippines.

The campaign demonstrates how ERA® real estate sales professionals go above and beyond the call of duty to assist clients purchasing or selling a home. Each of the four, 15-second and two, 30-second spots tell a short story with a humorous twist while highlighting the associate's commitment to the customer.

"The ERA sales professionals represented in the commercials embody the spirit of affiliates in the U.S. and internationally," said P.J. Martin Smith, senior vice president of marketing, ERA Real Estate. "The global demand for these commercials reaffirms the personal dedication that ERA sales associates have toward helping customers through every step of buying and selling a home is universal."

ERA Jyu-Tsu in Japan, the No. 1 real estate brand in the country with 500 offices, plans to use the commercials with a Japanese voiceover in an effort to attract new customers. "The commercials focus on the expectations customers have of real estate sales professionals in our country," said Minoru Asai, manager, ERA Jyu-Tsu. "To build a strong trust and relationship with customers, our sales associates pay close attention to details just as portrayed in the commercials."

In South Africa, the commercials will be utilized as franchise sales tools and to help recruit new sales associates to the global real estate brand. "We see a big benefit in the systems offered by ERA Real Estate, and look for opportunities to take advantage of their value by adapting them to the South African market," said Neville McIntyre, president & CEO, ERA South Africa. "The combination of comedy and business makes the commercials a natural fit for us."

ERA Realty Network in Singapore plans to use the commercials as part of its marketing campaign this year. "We really like the commercials because the focus is on the importance of taking care of the 'little things' to make the customer feel comfortable during the purchase or sale of a home," said Jack Chua, president, ERA Realty Network, whose main office has more than 1,000 sales associates. "Since many of our customers are multi-lingual, we customized the commercials with both English and Mandarin voiceovers."
