ERA TRAINING MANAGER APPOINTED TO SENIOR ADVANTAGE REAL ESTATE COUNCIL ADVISORY COMMITTEE

PARSIPPANY, NJ, December 18, 2002 - ERA Real Estate announced today that Melody Bohrer, ERA® training manager, has been appointed to the Senior Advantage Real Estate Council's (SAREC) Advisory Committee for 2003.

As a committee member, Bohrer will help identify and explore opportunities to increase benefits for SAREC members. The group includes real estate professionals nationwide who receive the Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation to better assist the needs of mature Americans. Bohrer will also offer ideas on how SAREC can increase consumer awareness about the importance of using a Realtor® when purchasing or selling property.

"Melody is an integral part of the ERA training team, and we are delighted that she will be part of the SAREC Advisory Committee," said Kathi Mathis, director of training, ERA Real Estate. "Her understanding of the real estate industry and the needs of sales professionals makes her a significant addition to this committee. As the only trainer delivering the SRES class in a virtual environment, Melody can offer unique insights about the program."

In 2001, Bohrer joined ERA Real Estate in Parsippany (NJ) as training manager. Prior to her appointment, she held a variety of positions affiliated with the ERA system, beginning as a top-producing sales associate for an ERA affiliated brokerage in the Ohio Valley. Bohrer is a graduate of the ERA Top Gun® Academy as the "Overall Top Agent" and "Top Listing Agent." She has traveled extensively throughout the U.S. teaching a variety of ERA courses, including AccelERAtion, a program that educates students about assisting buyers and sellers, pricing and preparing a home to sell, prospecting, hosting open houses and negotiating.

Bohrer also served as Vice President & Director of Development for a Top 200 ERA company in the Princeton (NJ) area, where she was responsible for management, recruiting and training.
