ERA® REAL ESTATE EXPANDS WITH COMPANY AFFILIATIONS AND NEW BRANCH OFFICES NATIONWIDE

Parsippany, NJ (July 9, 1999) – ERA Franchise Systems LLC announced today the recent affiliation of six new companies and the opening of 16 new branch offices in the United States, expanding its presence as a worldwide leader in residential real estate brokerages.

Among the brokerages added through May 31st, four of the six new affiliates each account for more than $500,000 annual Gross Commission Income. The new franchises are:

  • ERA Coastal in Columa, Michigan, the area's top independent firm.
  • ERA McCombs in Fort Wayne, Indiana, a leading independent company whose broker/owner Jack McCombs is the immediate past president of the Indiana Association of Realtors and a director for the National Association of Realtors.
  • ERA Bowers & Associates, Inc. in Southfield, Michigan, a leading minority-owned independent firm which plans to open a second location this fall.
  • ERA Maxwell Real Estate in Cambridge, Massachusetts, a strong, growth-oriented firm which was previously affiliated with ERA in the 1980s.
  • ERA Campos Realty in Union, New Jersey.
  • ERA Apex Realty in Bridgeport, West Virginia.
Existing ERA companies also opened 16 new branch offices in the 2nd Quarter. These offices include ERA Active Realtors, St. Joseph, MI; ERA Central Real Estate, North Quincy, MA; ERA Pearson Realty, Brooksville, FL; ERA A. Clinton Brooks & Co., Inc., St. Petersburg, FL; ERA Dennis Realty & Investment, Tampa, FL; ERA Pearson Realty, Spring Hill, FL; ERA LL Realty, Fernley, NV; ERA Encore Realty, Peoria, AZ; ERA Lentz Associates, Inc., Bainbridge, OH; O'Connor, Piper & Flynn ERA, Beltsville, MD; and four ERA New Star Realty & Investment locations in Irvine, Fullerton, Glendale and Rowland Heights, CA.
